It does have a fresnel but it's not technically a snoot. A hint. It is sold to wildlife photographers.

Ding Ding, we have winners. I bought it to use with my 100-400. I was messing around and put it and the 580ex II on my G9 to try it out. I think it will be something I can use with short lenses. Imagine it flipped on it's side to make an oval background or as a pretty well controlled snoot.

Sorry, no prizes unless you want a signed print of my kitchen ceiling fan. :D:D
