Monitor Suggestions

I need to upgrade my computer and monitor. I work on both platforms
regularly, but for my studio I have a PC. I would love to go Mac, but
for budget reasons I'm thinking about sticking to PC. Does anyone have any
monitors to suggest that are true to color? We're also considering a
laptop, any brand and model suggestions you have would be helpful.

Eizo make good monitors, and NEC have a range of color accurate monitors targeted at photographers. Any monitor will have to be calibrated.
