Nice shot, but a couple of things -

A deeper DoF (narrower aperture) of at least 5.6 may have served better from that range.

Having the subjects further away from the backdrop would have made it a little less distracting (based on a deeper DoF).

The bright sky central top is not the best. One of the hardest but most profitable things to get automatic, is to see through your subjects and consider backgrounds with as much respect as foregrounds.

Eye level - group portraits tend to work best if eyes are not on the same level. Positioning either the mother or father at a slightly different height adds depth and interest to the scene.
