Nice stuff John. Love the mood of the lighting out there that day. Question for you. I have watched your stuff for a while now, and one thing I notice is that predominately you have single car shots. Is this a stylistic choice, market driven thing... ? The do provide for cleaner images. Just wondering. I tend to lean the other direction, but it brings with it the obvious issues as well. With ALMS, it is really hard except after yellows to get competing cars together. Cheers.

Thanks, Croasdail. Probably don't have "one" answer for you. All of your reasons are valid at one point or another. I like multiple car shots when there is a rhythm or "dance" in the grouping... but for the most part, I'd have to say the opportunities don't always present themselves. In addition, clients like good clean shots of their car for marketing purposes. So, I'd say a lot of that becomes a function of my editing too.

I shoot a lot of images, so I guess at the end of the day, editing drives the final selections and I "go" with what I like.

I often wonder what would survive an outside editor's eye if they edited a full year of MY personal choices. It could be an interesting excersise.

Thanks, Jamie. With that second shot, the Mazda was belching fire about 25 feet further on. Unfortunately, that dropped it below the surface level... just not as powerful an image.
