Tried to do something "new" tonight, tied to use a mirror and use reflections etc. subject wifes toys for lack of any better.
Came out poor and childish, most disturbing is the comosition and the "styling" but also the reflections are pxxx poor, so unshapr etc, not at all as one sees it with the real eye. anyhow......tomorrow better.

Tips on how to improve on this would be highly appreciated!

hmm good point i could have gone all overboard, but was merely trying to see how i'd perform at this. there are shoes left backside, but cant see what they are, dont understand why though.

LOL I was expecting to see diamonds! I guess my age is showing. ;)

Not sure what the Chanel is resting on (slate perhaps?). Is that to give more depth and different levels of reflection? Wish I had some tips for you. Maybe fewer objects? With all the reflections, it looks a little cluttered?

I think it does seem a little cluttered...try taking one thing out from the composition, and see if that helps. if not repeat process till you find something you like.

I'm thinking "classy and chic" with the Chanel no.5 perfume and a pink Canon pocket digicam. Love the mirrored surface as well. But yeah, I would love to see a makeup item in there :D

Try a light behind the purse, an open lipstick to splash some color, thenput a strong vingnette on the result........ Just a thought.
