Isn't the Merchant Marine Academy up your way? I like the crash in #4, too.

haha, thanks for the comments guys,the crash was also a real hit (no pun intended) for all of us watching the races from the training ship.
asysin2leads: the merchant marine academy is actually south of here down in new york. we're up in Castine Maine.

MMA is actually on the southern edge of Long Island NY. So Nathan which Academy are you from? Naval Academy is in Maryland, and since you were in Kaneohe HI, my mind is thinking you were Marine Corps, correct?

they aren't to bad with 8 people rowing, but it is a workout, especially when trying to row into the wind and/or current.

Do you have any photos of Castine? I visited MMA a couple of years ago with my son; he ended up at Kings Point. Castine is a really wonderful place, but it is really in the middle of nowhere. The town is really nice to visit though.

yeah i have some castine photos, I'll dig em out. I'm pretty much sick of castine, the little town gets old fast, especially when it gets cold and everybody leaves. well really it's just the hot rich girls that summer there are the only ones we care about when they leave.
