Thanks everybody! That first shot was probably the hardest shot I have ever taken in my life. Haha. I was laying int he middle of the gap on the face of the landing looking up. I did burst shots with that one and I tried over and over because you don't really understand how fast they are going until you try and get a picture from that perspective. So after about what seemed 100 trys I finally figured out that when I am panning him I really have to move fast so when I figured that out I ended up with what you see now. Lol.

i find that for those kind of pictures its easier to just take one when the time seems right then taking bursts unless your camera can take like 20 frames per second or something.
i dono... its what works for me atleast
