Excellent work. Heading Home is nice as is the Intrepid shot...actually, they're all good!
Are the river corridors still under ATC control these days?

No. Thankfully we are still able to fly the corridor on our own. There is an exclusion area under the Bravo airspace that we're allowed to use providing we remain at or below 1000 msl.

By the way the Intrepid was just refurbished and the Concorde was returned to the ship just hours before I took these photos.

I thought the Cory Lidle accident brought about a change in the airspace?
Glad to hear it didnt...

The Cory Lidle incident happened in the East River in which there is still a TFR in effect. The Hudson corridor is still open. Thank Goodness for that!

I am surprised you are allowed to fly that close to a Carrier.

The Intrepid is my favorite shot... that Concorde sitting on that tiny tarmac is just stunning.

Great series. The Intrepid is my favorite. We toured it many years ago and was reminded of that when I recently saw it was returning after re-fit. Didn't even know the Concorde was there (left NJ in 1987).

I actually open the window when I'm shooting. All handheld.

The Intrepid was taken from service a long time ago and is now a floating museum. If it was an active aircraft carrier that would be different.
