I don't think it's dust (at least on the sensor if that's what you meant). Maybe dust drifting in the air around the frog. Plus, there was a lot of pond-type debris & little insects on the surface of the water all over the place. ( ya know, yucky pond scum....ewwww). At any rate, I did a little touching up in PS and viola!
You guys like it better? Was the touchup a decent job? (I'm still learning photoshop, so the more advice the better).
Thanks everyone, for your comments!

You know... when I first saw this, I said to myself "Looks good, but I'd airbrush out the dust" but I didn't say it in my reply because I wasn't sure.... After looking at both of them now, I think I was wrong. I actually like the first one better. Getting rid of all the wandering particles makes it look a lot less natural, especially with that blue-grey background. So, on 2nd thought, I'd maybe just take out that one big one over froggy's head, personally. Just my personal opinion. :)

The 2nd one is better (IMHO). If the "dust" was a different color then it might look like stuff floating in the pond.

So, after the capture, did you release him? ;)

Thanks! Believe it or not, before I got my Canon DSLR (20D), I tokk this shot with my Dad's 3.1 MP Fuji Finepix 3800. This was just a point & shoot, but that camera really produces some excellent images. Trying to learn Photoshop, I was just pulling up some older images I liked.
See my other post here with the Butterfly, also taken with the Finepix 3800.
It's a good little camera that Fuji !
