Little Purple Pansies . . .

I made my way south to Salt Lake City this Saturday past. They don't have snow nor cold and drab as do I . . . hmmm? I saw these little purple pansies in an elevated flower bed and just had to have a copy to take home, to tide me over until we get our own, several months from now.

This is a close up with my 20D/17-85 IS, free hand.

Is this picture heavily cropped? I see alot of artifacts......It's more of a gaming term but that is the only way I could describe it. Otherwise nice pic.

IanBMW, yes it is a tiny part of the shot. I had to crop very tightly to get it out. I have a 'tube' now so I hope that my close up work will improve in the future. However . . . any sight of spring will get me going, thus my first flower of the new year.
