I have given my website an overhaul.

The main page is a wordpress blog that features photos and announcements along with a calendar. The photos are hosted on a smugmug site.

My site is www.blackshadow.com.au - I'd appreciate some feedback from others.

It's not super flashy, but it appears to be very functional. The information is easy to get to and the pages load quickly.

For a more cohesive design, I think it would be better if the banner logo on the smugmug and wordpress sites were the same or more similar than the are now. And I would consider linking the photos in the wordpress posts directly to the smugmug gallery (or ideally to that image in the smugmug gallery) instead of to the individual image on a blank background. The other problem is that if you go from the smugmug site back to the wordpress site by clicking HOME, it opens a new window. I think it would be ideal to have that link open in the same window, but I'm not sure if that is possible with smugmug. If you could figure that out, you could link directly to your wordpress "About Me", "Gear" pages etc., instead of having duplicate pages on both smugmug and wp.

I have the same basic problem with zenfolio, btw.

Thanks for the feedback and I agree with every point you have listed - I aim to deal with them all in time.
