Hi
I bought a used G2, it works very well for me but when I go to down load my photos and video clips it won't download the video clips.
When I recieved the camera it only came with the Canon solution disc from canon, is there supposed to be anyother software with it that I'm missing?
I download my photos via the compact flash slot on my printer, I've tried via the usb but still no luck. Any ideas?

Thanks so much!

I do not have a canon p&s, but I had a toshiba (sorry for the momentary lack of discretion, but I gave it away!) and on the memory card it stored a .mov file. on your memory card I bet there is a movie file that can be downloaded to your HD by mounting the memory card liek a disk on your pc and just dragging and dropping. The use the suitable player to view. Not a complete solution, but should work.

Today I look a few pics and a short video clip of my grandson in his baby bouncer.
I used Canon zoombrowser to download them, the compact flash card was placed in the slot in my computer.

I played the video clip back via Windows Media Player.

Sometimes I put the card in a usb adapter because the slot in my computer doesn't always recognise it.

You can download from the drive to your folder also.
