So...my gym is not one of the brightest hence, I'm bumped up to 6400 at f2.8 with a ss of 640. Still not as sharp as I would like but workable. I'm very tempted to but a 135 f2.0 or even see about buy the big gun 200 f2.0, with bball coming soon!!
BOA/s (Ball on Arm/s) is very rare for me, with the speed and action of vball, so I'm some what pleased but wish/want these to get sharper in time!

The 135 would be a much more usable lens for both volleyball and basketball than the 200. It is probably my favorite indoor sports lens. I also really want a 200 but know it would get limited use for indoor stuff, however, that limited stuff would be rockin!! Also keep in mind you could buy a 135 f/2, 85 f/1.8 and a 5D Mk II for the cost of a 200 f/2.

Thanks Big K...that is what I thought - just had to hear it to sink in!

Get the 85 f/1.8 -- the perfect basketball lens, and will do great with VB as well.

Really like the effect of the BOA on the 2nd shot. Her arm muscle along with her look are awesome in this shot.
