On New Year's Day, the family drove from San Diego to Puerto Nuevo, Mexico, for lunch (they've got amazing lobster there, and it's quite inexpensive).
Anyway, I took this with my 300D, Quantary (Tamron/Sigma?) 70-300mm:

If I could've arranged for some whales to show some fluke, I would have!
But yeah, I see what you mean. The rock on the left side just isn't, in my opinion, big enough. And, unfortunately, there wasn't a good deal of surf.
Sure was a good deal of lobster, though...

yep, we head there whenever we go to TJ to visit family.
