I ended up cropping the last one to 4:5 ratio to get the trumpet player's arm out of the shot. These were taken with the "kit" lens.

Actually I'm impressed, nice job and with what everyone calls one of the worst lens out there.

I keep using it for these small club shows, hoping someone will spill beer on it or something...that way I can justify getting something better to the other half.

First three are nice. Pity you needed the flash... Try a 50mm/1.8 next time without flash.
