So I am guessing they are bbq's on the stands. This shot is cool cause it looks like it's from the future or from some other planet.

Excellent shot! We spent many, many hours out there when my father was stationed at Holloman AFB. Do they still rent the boards up at the ranger office so you can surf down the dunes?
