Red Boxes

The red boxes on both sides looks to me like a frame of something but there is nothing inbetween.
Unless you are trying to highlight the rope.
Also the black tube is just distracting.
The view behind the red boxes is also cluttered, without any focus

Those fire extinguishing boxes are the focus point of the shot, am I right, Tom?

I can see what you're trying to capture there, certainly not the easiest subject to shoot, regarding angle, composition, background etc. Nothing you can change or move to make it better apart from reposition yourself and change perspective of view, if it's possible, I would get a low angle, as low as possible, get down to the ground if I have to. That way you see less deck and more sky, and red boxes would certainly stand out more against blue sky :D
