Sharon's expressed reservations about providing negative critiques to photos are probably shared by many, accompanied by others who instantly click 'back' when they see an unappealing photo rather than attempting any sort of feedback because it would take to long.
Would it be possible to add an anonymous feedback widget to the photo feedback section? Perhaps it could be added automatically to any toplevel post containing an image or external link.
The widget would allow users to select a generic rating (bad - average - good - excellent) and/or perhaps allow more specific rating on the details(composition - lighting - subject - focus - etc.). A message field could be added too, I suppose, if it seems prudent.
If I could quickly rate a photo with 2 or 3 clicks and move on, I'd do it more often!
Just a thought,
_Tim
