I know the disclaimer says no guarentee of making the book but If it's not in this gallery, does that mean an image has already been rejected?

No this is just a preview to show folks what has been submitted. Nothing has been rejected at this point.

Smugmug...fixed....adblock plus doesn't like smugmug...I had to uninstall it...not just disable it.

Thanks to all that submitted to Volume 3. We are pleased to say that there is some great work that has been submitted this year. You guys & gals are going to have a hard time choosing. We hope to have the polls up around the first of December. We will post links to the polls here as soon as they are up. Good luck to you all.

No, because we want people to assess the images on their own merits. Those that get into the book will have those details included anyway.
