I'm a relative newcomer to this forum. Heck, I might as well admit it; I'm a relative newcomer to photography. Yeah, I owned the original Canon AE1 Program, followed by the Nikon N70, and then the F100, the D100, then back to Canon with the 10d, now the 20d. Can the 1ds Mark II be far behind?
I truly enjoy having such an interesting hobby. I find myself looking for photo ops while driving in my car. I love reading the posts and learning from all the knowledgeable people this forum is filled with.
Keep up the good work, everyone.
Thanks,
Mark

This is one of the better photo forums on the net with a very friendly and helpful bunch of photogs that are always ready to help out the best they can. Not like the other un-named popular Canon EOS forum that has a bunch of sarcastic fools replying to the posts. Kind of funny though, once you justify your post beyond any doubt the clowns give up and slither back into thier holes until next time. http://photography-on-the.net/forum/images/icons/icon7.gif

Couldn't agree more. I lurked on both for a while and this one is definitely the way to go. The people here seem more interested in actually taking photos than trying to find fault with their own and each others' equipment.

You've come to the right place: the people around here are great, you'll learn as much in a week here as you would in 6 months by yourself. Take photos, have fun, and good luck :)
