Hi all
Here’s a selection of photos from my recent trip to Greece. It was my first overseas holiday and I really enjoyed it. The following pics have been taken with a d200 and 18-55mm lens. Any comments or critique is appreciated.

Nice set of shots, just some minor comments.
I particularly like number 3, although I think it is a shame that the windmill cut the sun, I would have left it so you could see the full sun, preferrably above.
Not sure about the sunbeam in number 1, but love the composition on this, and really like number 2, need to careful with the blown sky, looks like an amazing location.
The fourth one (I think) has some flare, which is detracting.
But a nice set of shots.

#1 looks almost unreal - I love that one.
I like the sun being cut like that -- unusual.
Frog is cool.
Thx for sharing!

Thanks for the comments everyone. For the windmill shot I purposely framed it like that. I wanted something different. I have a pretty identical shot where the sun is positioned above the windmill. As for the blown sky's and flare, I only had a 18-55mm lens without a hood or filter so I did my best to try to avoid flare but obviously failed for some images. The sun was quite harsh too but I'm quite happy with the results seeing as it was my first overseas trip and a good opportunity to take travel photos.

#1 looks like a model or toy or something.

Thanks for the comments! #1 was taken at Santorini. It does look a bit like a set but thats because it was so clean and isolated. I would have loved to have spent a few days that that particular resort.

Nice set. ;)
I agree that the 1st one looks like a model, it has a tilt/shift feel to it, even though none of it has been thrown OOF!?! I think it's my fav from the set. ;)

Thanks. Who said a kit lens wasn't capable of taking decent pics?;)
