i am...actually having that same problem!! I have 5 photos due for my photography class on Monday on compositional elements, and I have been so damn busy with work, that I have yet to take any!! Now the weather is crap and I have to pull a rabbit out of my hat to come up with some worthy photos!!!

Yea i hear ya but unfortunately I don't have a flash that'll work the the 10D. Have been reliably informed that the Cobra 440AF wont work with it and I don'l have the money to fork out on a ringflash. Talking of flash, will the PC socket work with other flashguns? Never had a camera with a PC socket before

If its raining i just have to get on with it, as i have been paid for a job and have to do it. If its for myself (well i hardly do anything with the cams now for myself) but when i did, i'd go out anyway, as the rain can make very intresting images ;) - rain in oil for example, rainbows etc.... so wrap up, put your coat on, put the coat on the camera and get out and shoot :p

Ah....we play football with our feet here in the UK, that's why it's called football. Soccer is some foreign game I think.
What you play in America is 'rubgy with helmets and pads'. Rugby is popular here too, but we don't need helmets or pads ;)

American football is closer to what we call rugby cos you use your hands a lot compared to soccer. I don't watch either.

The 10D does have a built in flash that works fine with my 10D and my 100mm f/2.8 macro lens ;)
Here is an example I just took with my 6+ year old 10D with built in flash, to boot this subject could come in handy many ways.

An a handsome model he is!
Just my 2p worth, but a photographer who is bored and can't find anything to shoot because the weather is monochromatic lacks imagination. There is ALWAYS something to shoot!
For example, right this instant, without leaving the room I'm in (our home office), I have my wife, two (out of six) cats, all our computer stuff (two full systems plus a laptop), various papers, wires, the telephone, cat beds, light fixtures, the radio, and a small bug on the wall. Each of those could make for an interesting study.
Where would Warhol be without his kitchen cupboard?

Oh absolutely. Recently i was house bound and yet took several shots of ordinary household objects, seeing them in a new light. Then i was told i need to get out more! I wasn't saying there's nothing to shoot just because the sun isn't out,was just wondering what others do,
