this is my first time reviewing a piece of gear, and i tried to tailor it to concert/performance photography. let me know what you all think.

Miles,I think your review is pretty spot on. I use the 135L a lot when I shoot larger stages and see it mainly as a smaller/less expensive 70-200 2.8IS alternative. With the 135L you basically get the legendary IQ/AF/keeper rate of Canon's tele primes in a focal length that is great for mid-size concerts and at a price that is within reach. The funny thing is that it is probably my least used lens...partly because the keeper rate is so high.
The only thing to really watch out for with the 135L is dof at close range (headshot range for instance). You really have to be careful to put the AF point right on the target (nearest eye usually)...focus and recompose won't work so well.

Anyway, you can say I'm a fan (on both the 30D and 5D)...

how about 85/1.2L compare with 135L:)

i'll get right on that, just as soon as i can afford an 85L. it might be a few years, though.
