Hi,

I would like to know how to make a stereogram from a photograph. I have a few programs which make stereograms from a pattern and a grey relief picture. How do I use these programs to make a stereogram from a photograph I have on the computer. Do I need to convert the photograph to grey scale, etc?

Unless you are referring to something else, photo stereograms are made from two photos taken from camera positions a few inches apart.

That's what I thought when I read the topic title, but having read the post, I believe the OP is referring to those 'magic eye' images, where you stare cross-eyed at an image to view a 3D object imbedded therein.

LordV who frequents the Macro forums is a wizard at this process so you could hunt him down and ask him how he does it. :)
