I think the angle adds a bit of drama...let me know what you think:

That IS good blur. I find it odd that the guy would need to stand there directing it down though. Looks like an accident waiting to happen.

Clean your sensor dude, damn! :D

thanks for the props guys :)

as for why the guy was directing...no clue...but I'm guessing it has something to do with the fact that they were just landing in the fire hall's parking lot. (while they were finishing the helipad @ the hospital). Plus, you'd hope a firefighter (directing) would know what's safe and what's not lol

...yeah, I know...I hate changing lenses in the office/in the field...hence why I'm looking for a third body lol. I shoulda put my usual disclaimer of "I know my sensor's dirty" in the original post haha

In all but the last shots, it DOES look like he's worshipping the chopper. lol. The last one he looks complacent.

Nice link. I was unaware about the IS and lens changing. Did I catch a reference to "Cannon" camera in there? :P

Nice blur but the horizons could use a bit of straighting.

thanks guys...yeah, the horizons are not the best, I wasn't really looking at them (though the second one is intentionally crooked). I was kinda busy being pelted by rocks/sand/etc lol
