I took so many photos, it was tough to pick just eight, but I like these the best. Since it's late in the year, the animals were pretty non-active. It made for taking pictures easier, but as for their poses ... not so much.

Some kind of bird. I liked how it didn't move at all the entire time I was taking pictures of it.

After I got home, I kicked myself for not taking snapshots of the names of the animals, especially the exotic looking ones.

The bird is a Tawny Frogmouth.

My wife and I were at the OKC Zoo back in September and one of those birds would not take his eyes off of my wife. He kept making a grunting noise as she walked back and forth. :D

All very nice, but that Frog or toads shot #7 is just to adorable. Really a sweet shot. The Second shot is so intense...what a look!

Thanks everyone. It was my first time taking pictures of animals so I didn't know what to expect. I think I had the most fun shooting the meerkats.

And I included the picture of the zebra because I thought it was funny. Me and my friend were taking pictures when the zebra turned, looked right at us and starting peeing. Almost like it was saying, "You guys want a picture? How's this for a picture?"
