WORLDWIDE PHOTO WEEK: PART 136 -- Pumpkins/Gourds or Subject of Your Choice

The theme for this week is "Pumpkins/Gourds" or "A Subject of Your Choice" (in case you don't have pumpkins and gourds and such where you live)." Be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the topic -- the sky's the limit!


Here are the rules:

1. Shots need to be taken between sunrise Monday and sunset the following Sunday. Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives. Snap shots and art are equally welcome -- just get out & shoot, and then share!

2. Post your shots at any time during the week.

3. Post a maximum of two shots if you're uploading them to POTN (i.e., attaching them). You can post more than two if you're linking to shots that are not hosted by POTN (i.e.,embedding them), but keep within POTN rules. Also keep within POTN rules about size. I've heard that you need a smaller different kind of pumpkin for a pie.

Yea the smaller thicker walled pumpkins are better for pie, which is what the pumpkin in the photo is. My wife made a pie from this pumpkins twin brother last week and it came out Good........

Hate to break the rules, but this shot was taken saturday night at my girlfriends Halloween party... All of the decorations got packed up yesterday, so I didn't have another chance!!

I DID; however, shoot the pictures for the purpose of this thread!

The weather here is so nice that I'm concentrating on Fall yard work.

After all the work, only about 15 kids showed up and at that someone stole some of the decorations and the LED lights that were used instead of candles...:mad:

Next year it might just be lights out!
