Btw camera settings were:
Canon 450D
Sigma 10-20mm
ISO 100
10mm
shutter speed: 10
AV: 4
Suggestions how i could've made it look better?

neat shot, just a little out of focus. i think if you re-cropped it with the top of the tower a little more off-centered to the left and a little less of the dark sky would make it better.

There's a lot of lens distortion at 10mm with the camera looking up. I guess that's what you want. IF not you might try straightening; but you'll lose some in cropping. It's a nice shot. You might try stepping back next time and holding camera more level then crop to suit your intent.

Focus is alittle off. I think it would benefit from some fill flash as well to equalize the light. Do you have off camera flash?

No unfortunately i don't.. i tried to dim the 2 lights a little bit in photoshop processing the Raw image, but i think you're right that external flash might have looked better ;)
