Is there anyway possible to rotate movie clip that was taken in portrait view to landscape view, other than rotating my computer screen?

Hi'ya,
Interesting question. I don't actually use the video feature on my Canon, so I've never given this one any thought.
My first response would be that if it can be done it would need some sort of video software to do it. I'm sure that your digicam came with a proggie for processing AVI (I'm assuming that is the vidoe format it is producing) hopefully it allows you to play around with angles and views. To do this in graphics software would require the separation and adjustment of every frame in the clip. Not the way you want to spend your Sunday evening.
I'm sure that one of the Pro level video tools like Adobe Premiere will do this. Try and find a demo.
Hope you find a workaround.

Thanks, I tried out the VirtualDub and it does let you rotate the avi. Now if I can just figure out how to save it without getting the error about compressing, I'll have it made.
