The First Week

I've been messing around with my compact for a little while and decided to take the jump up to an SLR, which I got a week ago. I've been avidly snapping and figuring out whats what. At the moment Im shooting JPEG and pulling stuff straight off the camera, no tripod so everything is handheld unless stated. Im using a 450D with the kit lens. Hope half a dozen small images is ok to post here.
