More of the Western Red-tail ... perhaps a young adult

I took these today, once I discovered his/her perch trees it has become too easy.

With the activity in photo two, I wonder if this is just winter plumage coming out or a juvenile in its final molt to adulthood?

Thats really nice! We have a ton of redtailed hawks as well. Mind you Im just in BC so we arent that far away.
Ive never gotten close though for a nice picture. That second one is really interesting!
