Never heard of this till today. The washington post was doing a story on digital cameras. They qouted David Ritz camera saying this camera will sell for 799 u.s. Googled it and found this little review of it. http://www.livingroom.org.au/photolog/reviews/canon/canon_rebel_xt.php

Anyone heard or played with one???

The original Drebel will be reduced to $799 with kit lens. The DreXT will sell for $899 body, $999 with kit lens.

Availability is supposed to be March sometime.
