I can't seem to find any battery sets for the 20 D? I searched B and H photo, Newegg, Zipzoomfly, and Amazon and can't seem to find one?
Did I miss it, or where are they? Thanks for your help! ;)

What are you searching for? The most common I would think is the BP-511A and these places have them.

Ahhhh! Ok I goofed big time! :o
I was searching under this whole thing (BP-511A/BP-511/BP-512/BP-514AC) thinking this was the name of the battery...no WONDER I couldn't find one! haha. So now I notice the slashes in between them which means these are all different kinds that are compatible with the 20 D, correct?
*Slaps forehead* Sorry about such a silly post. I'm such a Newbie!
Thanks so much for your help!

Do a search on Ebay. You'll find them cheap.. sometimes 2 for $20 and often with more energy than regular resellers and Canon.

Sugar, several of these BP-xxx batteries are interchangeable.
Some of the old Canon BP-511 batteries had a capacity rating of about 1100 mAH. Then some other brands came out with 1200 and 1300 mAH. Then BP-511A came out. The highest ratings are maybe 1500 mAH.
Although those newest ones with the top capacity ratings are good, the old 1100 ones would be good enough if you can get them cheap enough.

I use sterlingtek too. I just ordered 1500mah batteries, and they sent me 1800mah ones, which is good. Unfortunately they don't have the little clip covers, oh well.

does anyone know where to get the battery covers? Are there any resources to get any extra ones?

I went into a local store and asked if they sold them, they said no, and that I was the first person who'd ever asked for them! They gave me one from a new box, because most people just throw them away immediately anyway :)

I am also looking at buying a more cost effective and better-than-Canon battery for the 20D.
The ones mentioned above, can they all be charged in the Canon charger, or do you need to fork out for another charger too?

I've been buying my batteries (BP511 7.4V 1500 mAh and others) from GreenBatteries.com. Very reputable and reliable.
They have a coupon for $5.00 off right now. The coupon code is GB56132 and is good for anything in the store with a $15.00 minimum purchase if used before March 18th.

Anyone have any more views (good or bad) before I order, on the Sterlingtek batteries, and/or extra charging info?

I've bought two BP-511s and a Nikon battery and have had no issues with them. They are so cheap, if they fail, you aren't out much money.
