Hi Folks

I am not sure if this is the forum where I should request for help - but I am sure that this forum does have super talented folks. For this reason, I will take a chance.

I took this image on Halloween's day and the picture turned out to be spookily dark. Is it possible to correct this picture? If so I would appreciate some assistance. I now have PS 7.

Thanks

You mean something like this:

Here's what I did if you care (I didn't spend much time, so you could probably get better results if you took your time):

Adjust the curves (ctrl+M) by adding several points to make an S shape that brings up the darks and brings down the lights
Adjust midtone levels (ctrl+L) to increase brightness a bit more
Increase saturation (ctrl+U)

The original would be better than the photo I used since the compression artifacts became very appearant.

That's cool, Lord. Thanks very much for the instructions. I will give it a try and post it for your critique.

I think that it's still too dark. I played with the image a bit more, and here's what I came up with:

It's not the best, but it's a start.
