Southwell Minster

Went to Southwell in Nottinghamshire at the weekend and took a few shots in and around the Minster there.

Here's a few, including some of my first forays into bracketed shots.

All shot hand held on my 450D with the kit lens. Shots 2, 4 and 5 bracketed at -2, 0 and +2 EV and combined using Bracketeer.

Succumbed and bought Photomatix as I wanted to try out tone mapping, here's a shot of the ruins of the Archbishop's palace which was destroyed during the English civil war:
