Gold Coast Indy 2008

Just wondering if anyone got any good shots from the Gold Coast indy (preferably from the spectator side of the fence). I found it almost impossible to shoot anything because there is hardly any spots where the view of the track is not spoilt by the ugly fence.

Maybe I'm looking in the wrong section. I should be looking in the 'nude and glamour' section.;)

I took about 65,000,000 photos from the 9th floor of the Focus - no fence problems from that height!

Just have to sort through them and I'll post some for you.....but they'll be of cars!

Here are a couple that I shot over the weekend. The little Aussie Racecar on two wheels ruined by the fence, and Jack Perkins in the JDR V8 Supercar taken at about the only unobstructed location (at track level) in the whole spectating area.
