I just got in some 20X30's taken off of my 1DMKII done by a pro lab. These are pretty amazing prints and I'm sure I could go even bigger.

What's the largest anyone has gone??

Iv gone A3 with my A80, only suffered only minnor pixalation.

So ssim how many firends and family are getting a photo for a presant?

A4 with 300D, I got a supurb print of my "famous" Harris Hawk photo.

I have not yet printed big photos from 20D.

BTW, how much does it cost to print an A4. Found a place that do it for about $1.5.

6' x 4' and about all you can notice is a bit of residual noise in the solid tones (Have one from a D70, 2 x 1dMkII and a 1dsMKII). Still no real pixelation though the D70 print is not as good as the 1d's. The big problem with going big is getting the sharpening right. Forget trying to judge it on screen! To get big prints that look sharp at a distance means way oversharpening them so that they dont look right close up.

A3 with a G2 and with the EOS camera's to A4 but A3 should also turn out fine;)

That's about 50 DPI effective on the 1DMkII, right? I can see that looking decent from about 10' away, but can you get any closer?

Yep though of course I upsized it (10% increments) to 200dpi for printing. The only thing you can really see is the odd bit of noise in the sky and solid blocks and the fact that I oversharpened. The 1dMkII pics are really really impressive as long as you are more than a couple of feet away.
