Yippee Mission Accomplished! I did a family shoot and an e-session today. It rained, hailed, sleeted and snowed but we managed to get the shots:D
Now I am back here working on the sports shots from last week so I can get them done and start on the more "fun" pictures. And I have 3 more volleyball teams to shoot tomorrow night. Not complaining really, busy is good, but man those sports pix get BORING!:)

Hi. I've been busy. I took about 400 pictures yesterday with 2 basketball games and a Pinewood Derby.

SNOW SNOW SNOW! ALL DAY! I want it to stop already!

Just though I would drop in and share a few things from my day.

The good: My kids came over and brought my granddaughter.

The bad: My kids closed one of our bedroom doors so my granddaughter would not go in it and get into things she shouldn't. One of my cats was in the room for several hours and we forgot about the door being closed. I heard a crash in the room, the cat had knocked over an ironing board which got wedged between the door and a heavy bed frame, sealing the door shut. I had to go outside in the snow and pry one of the windows open and climb in to the room which was now reeking with the smell of cat sh*t!

Other than that episode it has been a pretty nice day.:D

It's funny, they seriously got a dusting of snow....the snow plows were out, we saw two cars in a ditch, it was just too funny. I'm used to snow by the foot. This place shuts down with snow like that. I LOVE IT!

We still have lots of snow. I was hoping for a snow day, but all we got is a 2 hour delay.

Why is it that when I have to get up and get ready for work, I could sleep all day, then when they cancel school or put us on 2 hour delay, I am up and wide awake at 4:00am ?:lol:

Our roads are sooooooooo slick, snow, ice, BLACK ice everywhere. My son has to travel to California today and I am worried sick about him traveling on these roads. It's going to be a long day.

Hi all! I had an emergency job again today. I only sub for one person and she's sick this time, not her Dad. It's been exhausting. Happy Chinese New Year! Mike, a new house! Wow. That sounds expensive. I remember the first house. Our current home has 26 windows. We had no curtains for them, as it was new. WalMart was definitely our friend. A new kitchen is pricey, but this is a good time to get new stuff, though. Bargain with them.

We're do it yourselfers so it should cost roughly 2k to:

refinish the cabinets(adding moulding to the doors)
tile the countertop and back splash
add HW floors
Paint
Window Treatments.

How's everyone? I have been busy... booked another wedding for May 2nd and the babies are keeping me busy. I just had 6 days off so I ran down south to check on my mom (who has worsening dementia), the ran home to catch up on housework and bills...and I have done some scrapbooking as well. Tomorrow I head off for a 50 hour stretch of work.

Here area few of my scrapping pages of Sophie. Her mommy asked me if I would do a year of photos and make a scrapbook. How could I say no? And then I wonder why I am so busy;)
