General Wedding and Hannah Montana Chit Chat Thread... (Part 5)

I painted the entire studio... 2 coats of primer, 2 coats of white... only 1 drop on the floor...

Painting the second wall Black and putting another coat of semi-gloss white on the other floor...but the kids are with me and driving me nuts.....i hate it when my wife has training

I can paint :D I painted my living room, walls and ceiling with a roller and I never even dripped once!

I spill a little amount on the floor but it was used to paint...so really no paint spilled. Well I put three coates on the black wall and 2 coates on the white cyc wall and the high gloss latex white paint is so much better than the epoxy paint we used last time...can't waqit till tomorrow night to use both of them...hehe. Ok all time for a shower and then bed. night all.

I went to the Kristen Stewart thing last night. Got to see her and the woman who plays Rosalie (Nikki Reed) at the mall. They were beautiful, stunning. But only saw for 2 minutes while waiting for 3 hours. Took 2 of my old students and we were okay with it. The crowd of teenage girls were so loud and crazy, the two stars left in a state of fear and practically ran out of there. Being famous is really scary, I think. But we went to the Cheesecake Factory afterwards. That was a best part. :)

Okay, I figured she would. It's an amazing camera, the 9 is not too bad either.

I purchased a lot of things yesterday but mostly business related, two bridal shows, cypress box, books, prints for bridal show...etc. I have one in Ohio in Jan, then Mo. in March.

Now I need to pick up a 24-70 for my partner and a few odds and ends and then I can look at the G10 for me and a macbook pro also. Need that by May when the traveling begins.

Look at the top of any Forum page and there is a link for rules and submission uploads.

Go to the link at the top of the page, fill out the info, send it and the next page will allow you to upload your image.

Make sure you check to see the size it needs to be.

#7 -- is almost perfect...lighten it (foreground) just a tad then send it in :) The sky makes this photo...

i had to grab it from another photo, but its the opposite side as the videographer was stood there the whole time blocking that side.. bit of tweaking and it fits ok

lol yeah last test i made a 66.34:| most of the answeres are automated when graded...but others have multiple answers to them...so i guess on that test i got a fraction of them right.lol.

A couple quickies from the christening rehearsal this afternoon. I was surprised at how dark the camera thought the church was...and tomorrow morning won't be any better for light. Was just having a play today to get the feel of things. The church is surprisingly teensy so happily I will not have to use the heavy 70-200 tomorrow which should make things easier since my wrist was killing me after just a short time!

Just got back from the christening. It was ok, but not really the way I thought it was going to be after our rehearsal yesterday and talking with the priest. And I'm not into the hour and a half catholic church service thing so much ;)

Hi all. Been out of commission working all week......so tonight I treated myself o a trip to the stores where I bought warm jackets and a zillion toys. The coats have been delivered to our drive for "Coats for Kids" and the toys will go out tomorrow to Toys for Tots.

Thanks, Kathy...I just rolled down the car window and made two quick snaps...by the time I got home it was gone...check out the kid in the car next to mine at the intersection...a ham eveywhere you point a camera...LOL!

Funny thing with the barn picture submission. I sent them 1 & 7, wich were the ones chosen by most people I showed them to, you included. I sent them at about 4:45 on Friday afternoon. Yesterday morning I had an email from the publications art supplier and she wanted to see more shots of the barn, so I sent her all of them! lol I will know something by the first week of December on which, if any they choose to use and what they choose to use them for.
