Ok, if I've made a site on this program i got a few years ago which I haven't used for a while Web Express 4.0 is it possible for me to buy a domain name and put the website on it? It's saved on my computer... I'm not sure though how I would go about this. Any help would be appreciated.. Thank you

should be able too, get webspace, register domain, point domain to webspace, upload and it should work! Obviously not THAT simple, but basically

Find a cheap host (I can recommend some), and sign up, making sure to get their DNS server info, which you will need for your domain. Then, go to a registrar (I recommend Powerpipe.com as they are cheap!) and find a domain you like. You will be asked for the DNS info - this is what ties your domain to your webspace and thus your site. Once that is all taken care of, you will need an FTP program to get your files from your computer to your host. Go to www.download.com and find a free one, there are many. Upload your site and you will be good to go, pretty much.

I know it is still a very simplifed outline, but it should help get you started. You can always post back here for more help from everyone - good luck!

Also, a lot of times you can register a domain in the same place you get hosting from, so you can skip the DNS configuring process.
It's not as difficult as it sounds ;)

I use http://www.alphaomegahosting.com and they're very reliable and inexpensive. I registered my domain and host through them.

Damn I was going to say that, but I didn't want to sound spammy... is that allowed here? Even if you don't want one of us, try www.dayanahost.com, they are the cheapest around!

check out doteasy.com - cheap webhosting with buying the domain name through them - used them in the past and they are fine as long as it isn't a high traffic site (follow the bandwidth limits and monitor to see if you need to upgrade) but for most people's sites they are a great solution
