I don't really care about aesthetics. I just want one that functions well and gives tack sharp images.

Sorry I forgot to add, that $700 is just the buy it now price. It's just there to be there. Once people bid, it's going to disappear anyway. I'm selling it at the lowest for $660 --the reserve price. If you wish to buy it without the tripod mount and the extra UV filter, I can do $495 plus shipping and PayPal... outside of eBay, of course. The listing is already there and I can't change the figures around without eBay flagging me even if it's for legit reasons.

But anyway, if it's not in your budget, i wish you luck in your search. Hope you get the lens. It's very nice, which I'm sure you already know. :)
