Hi, first post :)
I have just purchased an i9100. I am an art student and I will be using it for A3 pop art style prints as well as photographs.
I was worried when I read the user manual upon setup which said that the max paper weight to be used is 170gsm. I had hoped to be printing on 270gsm glossy paper and 290gsm card. I have since read in another forum that it IS possible to print on heavier media than specified by Canon. Something to do with adjusting the print head spacing?
I was wondering if anyone here has had any experience of printing on heavy media with the i9100 and if so, what the results were like? Also, is using non-canon paper and ink wise or would I regret this?
