I am wondering how people transfer programs when you get a new computer. I was able to download cs3 because I didn't use my second download. But I can't transfer my illustration and all my others that I use. Do I contact who I ordered it from???

If you download software, you should make a backup of the installation files so that you don't have to download them again.
Contact who you purchased them from - I would never purchase any Adobe software without getting the physical installation media personally.
You could technically swap your hard drive into the new one or image it to the new drive - you would have to do a lot of specialized work to it to remove drivers that were needed for the old one and prepare it to run and detect drivers for the new one. I haven't tried that with Vista so it may be easier with it. But with XP or before there is a lot of prep work and it's a bit technical. It's not the ideal solution at all.

It is easy to do with the Laplink PCMover (http://www.laplink.com/pcmover/). Basically you connect the two PC's with a USB cable (supplied with the box) and PCMover helps you choose which of your programs and/or files you want to migrate, and it does the rest. I have an unopened copy here, if you are interested PM me.
