Nice Chris. Nice to see someone was smart enough to BRING their camera! Did you get any of those nutty trucks from International?

Hi Chris -
Your pictures look great!!! Are you using flash or available light? Is there enough light to handhold at these events or do you need a tripod?

The batteries in flash gun gave out early and I ended up hand holding for a lot of the show. It was surprisingly good light in there. Looking through these shots, I see a couple of things that I missed while going around. Thanks for showing me them.

Mark, I used the 17-40 for all these shots, and a 550EX as fill flash (-2/3~1FEC). All these are handheld. Look at the last shot.... do you really think there's room for tripods? :-P
It wasn't as bad when I got there (bright and early in the morning when they opened), but it got bad later (the last pic was taken around noon).
BoySpot, you're from around here. Haven't seen you around the forum :).

I'm not as regular a poster. I check in several times a day but I don't have as much to offer as some of the regulars here. (I have noticed that it doesn't stop some people though.) I liked the shots you took from the planetarium cMm. This is a great city to shoot in. Used to live in London which was also full of opportunities. Just like to have some fun with the camera.

Wow, those are pretty much magazine-level shots. Actually most of them are better than a lot of magazine shots. :D I love the polished Shelby!

Chris, I checked out your site. You have some nice additions there. You probably know which photo is my favorite (hint: da Bears).
About the above photos, I agree with LampL, they are magazine quality.
Btw, do you have more pics of the SLR (Mercedes).

:D Thanks... You're right, that is a good picture, I like it too.
I did take a few of the SLR, but none were keepers. It was up high and the doors were opened up in the air, so I couldn't frame it probaperly.
