Is it better to have the AiAF set to AF Center for general use. I find the AiAF a bit confusing:(
e.g. Trying to capture a landscape, 3 or 4 green blocks appear indicating (I assume) that the camera is focusing on these objects? These objects are not the same distance from the lens. Which of the objects in the landscape will be in perfect focus?

Some advice will be much appreciated...:)

First time poster and new owner of an A95. Like you, I was having trouble using the AiAF mode and switched to center focusing. Problem solved! :)

AiAF works ok on daylight scenie situations. But yes, i switched it to centre focus as well since i'm used to it with my 35mm EOS SLR anyways.
