Patience is a virtue. Replies can take a while.

From my point of view the image dsays nothing to me. Normally if I have nothing good to say I just close the thread and move on but as you are looking for replies here is one :)

The image does not seem to hae a single point of focus for me, and the dark area to the left with the slight diagonal seems a little distracting. You have good light, and the backgorund colour is interesting. I'm thinking a composition of the centre area of the web from closer may have worked better.

Bear in mind this is just my opinion. :)

Not bad, but I tend to agree with Richard.

The background is too diverse. I would think either the sky or the dark area but not both.
I like the frost on the web idea. Maybe try again from a different angle.

If I may offer a suggestion, try converting the image to B&W using the Channel Mixer layer and play with the amount of mix from the R, G and B channel. Try to make the background black or dark gray and the webbing as light as possible so that it stands out from the background. You will then have a study of the web patterns. When the image is in color, the background colors detract too much from the web pattern which is what's of interest in this picture. Give it a shot and see how you like it. Good luck.

BTW, you might also want to sharpen the image a tad more to bring out the details of the moistsure(?) that's on the web after you convert it to B&W.
