If I were you, I would have clone it off... doesn't look difficult to me, and you have so much resources around to cover it.

Exposure wise, a tad dark but that's an easy tweak.
Level the horizon in #1 and it will make it more dynamic. Judging by the angle, he's really in major "woah up" mode but it's hard to see that because you leveled the helo and not the world around him.
A little cloning will remove the flare in #2.

thanks...good ideas :D I'll do that when I'm having a boring/cold night haha...I didn't even know I had these 'till I bumped into them accidentally today...I'll re-post PP'd versions of them sometime in the future :)

I didn't think to level the horizon as suggested by FlyingPhotog (brilliant suggestion!)

I hope you don't mind but I followed F/Photog's comment and had a go as levelling it a little? While I was at it I removed the two lights on the side of the building which I thought were a bit distracting against the chopper and also the third light on the end.
I had to 'extend' the window & brickwork a little on the left otherwise you'd have lost a lot of the bottom of the picture in cropping.
Sorry if it's badly done - I'm very (VERY) new to all this photo editing....so it's great to have images to challenge myself with.

dude...you have nothing to be sorry for! I think you did an excellent job. Thank you! :) Looks great...I usually hate PP'ing, but I'm going to do exactly what you did :p

Hmm,
I took the 1st image, and changed the exposure per Jay's recommendation, to what I think looks more natural. I also Leveled the Horizon based on the outer buildings, instead of the building line, & instead of the Helo. Hope that is ok. All I did, was a Curves & Layers Adjustments, and use the Clone & Patch tools.
