Hey guys... Im sorry if this has been posted umteen times, I just dont have time to do a mega search through the forums.

Im shooting my first wedding this weekend. Its a beutiful EXPENSIVE wedding at a gorgeous location (makes my job that much easier right? lol) but im NERVOUS AS HELL !!!!!

I'm going in with my 580 EX II, lots of extra batteries, and a prayer.

I'm sure that ultimatly it will be just fine... but does anyone have any tips or pointers that I should know before I head into this scary venture? :oops:

get a 2nd body, hire or buy faster glass

read lots of wedding sites, look for inspiration from blogs etc.. im sure that Tim will chime in with his Wedding FAQ link (i cba to find it)\

oh and formulate a plan for the day..

First of all the equipment you have is only going to work outside. What would make me nervous is that it is an 'expensive' wedding and the couple still decided to hire a firsttimer. Maybe you are that good but from your list of equipment you are far under equipped.
You seem to be confident that eventually all will be fine but I really would not like to be in your shoes at the time you realize that it is not workig.
There is a lot to discuss but the best advice I can give you is this.
Find a local reputable wedding photographer fall on your knees and ask him to be the FIRST shooter at the wedding. Believe me you will take much more from that wedding than you would do it alone.
