Group pictures of rock/alt band at a bowling alley

I had a request from a local band here in chicago to take group shots at a bowling alley just hanging out (not performing). I have NO idea what atmosphere I'll be shooting in. I assume lower light and some dance type lights. they will be dressing up into some sort of costume as well... not just regular street clothes.

what should i bring?
i plan on bringing:
2x light stand with 2/3 strobes.. an umbrella
17-55mm 2.8
50 1.8


ideas? suggestions? thoughts? any help is very much appreciated.

Do you have permission from the bowling alley? That is probably the first thing I'd look into. Other than that yeah, I'd say your list of gear should cover you just fine.
