S3 IS Owners Manual

Hello, new guy to Canon forums.

Just picked up a used S3 IS, mainly to have a camera along while hunting, etc. It came with no owners manual. Is this how they came new? Would like a manual, does any one know how to get one? I've tried the Canon website and have downloaded a pdf manual. Yeah I know, I could just print it out. I'd really prefer to have an original manual if I can get one.
